Stylised animals and one human dressed in zentangle art.
This is how artist René Campbell describes herself, on her Instagram page: "Visual Artist, Scientific Illustrator & Marine Ecologist (PhD)."
Animals look beautiful in their natural form. This is just a different kind. A fantasy out of this world, a form they might be able to assume. Like the portrait of the woman, to make closer comparison to us.
My favourites are the intricacy of the European Bee-Eaters and the profile of the lionfish woman.
How about you? Which ones make your eyes sparkle, when you look at them?
Ps. I gave the images some titles.
