Fantastic way of associating books and drawing.
British Artist based in Slovakia Isobelle Ouzman is the artist whom created the drawings and books on this page.
A scalpel, an ink pen and colour pen/pencils, help give these layered images their amazing quality. Ouzman finds the best way to showcase this style. That is to have tunnels which make use of the pages of a book. It helps give the image that spacial length and its wonderful 3D quality.
Animals, architecture and plenty of flowers, combine to make this artist's work, a fresh take of a very old practice.
My personal favourites are drawing three and four. The deer and fawn accompanied by the town scene, which spans on both sides of the book. The later being the top drawing for me.
What do you think? Which one is yours?
