The Italian Venetian scene of the buildings just appearing out of the water. The structure at the fork of the road. The building ending close to a wedge to follow the lines of the roads converging towards each other.
Then the precision of the small drawing on the sketchbook of the Basilica of San Gaudenzio in Italy. You can use the pen, to give you a sense of scale. Finally, the tiny house examples on the penultimate sketch.
