Stippling and dotart Animal and Fantasy Drawings

Stippling or dotart, adopted to create drawings of animals.

Lucy Johnston (spacecrvfts) is the artist whom is to be admired for the drawings on this post.

Real living critters and fantasy creatures make this page one of great interest. Then there are the hybrids like the snail. A real animal combined with some lovely fantasy detailing.

For those whom have come across the stippling or dotart style for the first time, the following is the best way I can summarise it: Dots are placed on the page with the use of a fineliner ink pen. The closer the dots, the darker an area is. The more distant they are from each other, the lighter.

I have enlarged the first drawing of a dragon and placed it at the end of the page. Here you can clearly see how the precise scattering of the dots, form this enchanting image.

Ps. I gave the images some titles.
