Russian Artist Gennady Ovcharenko (Геннадий Овчаренко) is the artist whom created these drawings.
They are mostly out of a sketchbook. Occupying both pages of the book, they are drawn in graphite and colour pencils.
There are so many lovely views, incredible architecture and amazing locations.
The river side ones and the canal drawing in Venice, are my favourites. They seem to bring out an extra beauty from the city, enhancing the buildings all around.
Internal courtyards and cobblestone roads, are another feature which really attracts me to these illustrations.
The first drawing down encompasses the features of the paragraph above. Plus, the sepia approaching colour, helps it give the image, a wonderfully vintage look.
