Mythical creatures accompanied by everyday ones. All have one thing in common: A final look, which brings them out of this wold and locates them in one of pure fantasy. One, which I would love to visit...
Overall design and complexity add to the qualities I have listed above. All of these factors give me three favourites: The Lionfish. I adore how the composition of the patterns fits so closely and distinctively to the form of the fish. The frog. Love frogs and art inspired by them. The illustration below, fits right into that category. Splendid big expressive eye. The jellyfish. The is something so alien about this creature in its natural form. Depicted the way Martyn does, sums up that thought to perfection.
