Many of these buildings are based, some more distantly than others, on established architectural styles. You can definitely see Stevenson's twist on the subjects.
Beautiful constructions and homes for all sorts of people and creatures.
I love the first drawing down. So many details. I suggest pressing and enlarging it, to take them all in. I was about to start describing them, but there are so many of them. This includes the choice of setting a skyline, while greying out all of the buildings in the background This has the effect of focusing the attention of the viewer, on the building at hand.
There are so many exquisite design details peppering the entirety of this post. It culminates with the last house. Its distinctive proportions are the first thing to attract my attention. This is followed by the supports of the facade on the upper floors and the window designs and detailing. A beautiful fantasy view that would fit in any book, movie, or animation out in the real world.
