One more addition. I forgot to mention markers, when listing the mediums on the first line.
Below is a mixture of useful exercises and subtle, sometimes minimalist portraits.
As far as the tutorials are concerned, hair, eyes and expressions are explored. A step-by-step approach that starts with a basic sketch, to end up with a more complex and detailed one.
I have already mentioned the minimalist illustrations. Drawings that seem to focus mostly on the facial features and emotions of the person.
Finally, the drawing studies. One focuses on expressions and poses of a witch and the other one involves a collection of portraits with different characteristics.
A lot to see and take in on this page. Have fun discovering all of the styles mentioned above.
