New Zealand Artist Ashley McDonald drew and painted all of the animals on this page.
Some of them have the realistic colouring nature dressed them with. The majority though, are sporting some out of this word: Fur, plumage and scales.
Almost every depiction on this page constitutes a different species. Land water and shy are all represented, creating a lovely and diverse collection of critters.
Among my favourites are: The lizard (reptile). The cherry blossom rat and the celestial bird.
The rest of the images are so beautiful, they don't stand far behind the first three.
One last thing to say: McDonald manages to achieve illustration perfection in all three mediums she uses. They are: Watercolor paints, ink fineliners and color pencils.
