There is a lot to like in the deceptive simplicity of these pieces.
Some might say: "They are not realistic. How difficult can they be?" There are strands upon strands of lines weaving and interlacing. If you pay close attention though, they are perfectly spaced and they are not broken or jagged. There is a masterful precision, control and attention to detail in their seemingly random placement.
Sometimes, the simplest the drawing, the more accurate it has to be to look good. Any indecision or wave of the hand and the effect is lost. There isn't much around it to cover or minimise the error.
