A very diverse group of oil pencil and ink drawings.
A German Artist that goes by the name of FlyinFreak created all of the drawings on this page. The artist lists the mediums used as follows: "I draw with oil-pencils, ink and markers."
The mediums are not the only differences. The subjects are just as diverse.
There are portraits, complete animals, a WIP, fantasy and surreal characters, sketches, realistic likenesses, black and white plus colour art.
There are different reasons for my favourite picks.
The little compact bird in the form of the kingfisher and the beautiful colouring of the plumage covering its tiny body.
The wonderfully detailed armadillo rolled in a ball, clutching its own tail in its mouth. It looks more like an ouroboros in that pose.
The next one is the sweet dog stretching whilst on its back. It's looking at you to give a sign you want to play some fun game...
Following is the roadrunner fish and Wile E. Coyote mermaid. This is a transformation of the original characters. Between them, the eternal struggle of the coyote trying to capture the roadrunner with some elaborate Acme plan.
Finally, the WIP drawing of the blue iguana reptile. With this one, I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished. It's nice to see the building blocks that are going to form the finished animal's likeness.
In the meantime, you have all the rest of the finished drawings to enjoy.
