Persian Artist and Teacher Sajjad Khaleghi drew all of the art you see on this page.
There is so much to like about Khaleghi's work. Even though these sketches were never intended to look realistic, they contain so much life and reality in them. The expressions are excellent and help tell a story the moment your eyes land on them.
The interpretation of the emotions going through these pictures might be up for discussion. What isn't is the fact that there is so much going on. You can imagine all sorts of stories playing out here.
That is, occasionally, what I like to do when admiring portraits. Khaleghi's depictions make this process an easy and enjoyable one to picture.
My advice to you is to set loose your imagination and then look and interpret the portraits. Allow yourself to fully experience what your mind might make of their lives as you scroll down the page.
Enjoy the experience.
