This Romanian artist goes by the name of Piggysart and she has created all of the art on this page.
I love these types of drawings. It's a true and beautiful insight into the life of an artist. A way of viewing the things and, in this case, the people that make enough of an impact to warrant a mention. Here today, in the form of a sketch.
Drawing four on this page is telling. The only picture that is directly related to existing people. The artist marks it "Disney animators". It feels like a hat tip. A way of communicating how much the artist appreciates their work?
Many other likenesses pepper this page. Plenty of expressions, poses and all sorts of other details bring you into a study of people Piggysart seems to be fascinated with. A strong starting point if you want to be a good/excellent portrait artist.
There are two drawings I would like to single out: The first one is drawing two. The unusual pose sees the face of the protagonist of this sketch turned away from view. Is it done as a reaction of the artist/us looking? Is the person distracted by the arrival of someone/something? These are some of the array of questions that make art interesting to me. It's when you don't have all the answers that your imagination can truly engage. You definitely stand more of a chance of bonding with the piece.

The second: Almost forgot about mentioning it. It's the simple act of movement. It's shown in drawing 6 and it fascinates me. Simple things often do this to me. That is because they are considered mundane, lacking interest. Those are the instances when you are most likely to miss the subtleties that make us, us. The strange quirks that make humans a weird and wonderful species. Not all good. Not all bad...
