The amazing world of quilling and papercraft drawings.
An artist that goes by Samakes designed and executed all of the art you see on this page.
(Quilling or Paper Filigree are a form of art that involve the use of strips of paper. They are rolled, shaped and glued together to create decorative designs.)
There are so many more scenes on the artist's page. You can see more of this style if you press the link "quilling", in the first paragraph.
The art on this page involves many different subjects and colours. The thing that unifies them is the sheer amount of details included in every composition you see.
I love the layers of paper as they overlap onto one another. They are pretty much all my favourites. I will therefore just list some of the scenes below.
The lovely little mouse with a top hat in his charming world. The second drawing is characterised by two vortexes of the moon and sun. They preside over a sea and a beach walk. The next mention goes to the one I called the turtle architect. Such a cute face and expression. It's wearing the buildings on its shell. The detailing is so smooth and different from the look of the other applications. The last one I am going to mention is the 6th image, which, to me, signifies life and rebirth.
How about that? Art made with paper, a seemingly nondescript material. Art Using Everything...
