Lady Meli Art drew all of the art you see on this page.
Mandalas are an ancient form of art based on concentric patterns. In recent years artists like Lady Meli have been experimenting with variations of this style. Some of the looks and patterns are similar, but the layout are different. The essence is still there. You can see they are based on that kind of art, even though the executions might make them look very different.
My favourite in this post is the second drawing. The one I called the "flower tubes". There are circles there, just not placed in the same way a classic mandala does it. You can still clearly see the influence, though.
Lady Meli's detailing through colours has increased in detailing too. It adds a whole new dimension to her work.
I have seen videos of how these drawings are achieved and most of it is done by hand. The delineating part might be done with a compass, but all of the colors are applied just by hand and so are all of the shapes. The slight imperfections are what give this piece that handcrafted look and authenticity. And I want to make clear that you really have to look for the imperfection, as they are so slight and for me, they are an absolute positive.
