A collection of drawings that carry you through a story. A journey full of perils and surprises.
The titles Loo has given his work serve as mini introductions. I would absolutely like to know the story behind it. At the same time, though, between the title and the images, there is already so much to go by. Plenty for your imagination to wonder and to wander. It's very appropriate that the first part of the title of each of Loo's images starts with "Wanderers".
If I were to describe each drawing, I would be here for a very long time. There is so much going on in each one. So I will stick to a few highlights.
Now to the first drawing and that walkway. I have actually seen pictures and videos of modern construction of those walkways. Same supports and narrow pathways. I don't know if you can ride a fully loaded cart and a donkey, but they look very much like that. Little side note: Have a look at the trees below. They almost seem to be reaching up for the pathway...
Once again in the second drawing we have so much going on. Amongst everything else, I love the creatures they are riding. As well as their forms, I adore the smiles on their faces.
A treasure room, dragons and more beings await you in the following images. They are all waiting for you to lay eyes on them so they can tell you their portion of the story. Don't keep them waiting…
