Illustrator Danny Quirk, is trying to change the view people have of illustrated anatomy, as a "morbid" or "creepy" subject. When you think about it, how can we be disgusted with the way our body works and looks? Quirk mostly uses liquid latex, acrylic paint, and Sharpies to illustrate various anatomical parts on his models. I have included a video below that shows the artist at work + a set of WIPs (work in progress) to show the progression of his work. Like a very complex watch, our body works by controlling and running, all the different mechanisms, in unison.
