Realistic and Detailed Pencil Portrait Drawings

In this post, many different styles to illustrate human features.
I have been able to find precious little about this artist, his name is Marat Utamuratov, he comes from Kazakhstan, describes himself as an amateur Artist and is a Doctor.  Succinct but very interesting.  When it comes to being an amateur, the word has two definitions, a person that does not take payment for his or her efforts, or a reference to low skill, basic entry level.  The first may well be, but as far as the second definition, for me, it really does describe the proficiency he displays in his portrait drawings and the realism that becomes apparent, when compared to the photograph, in some of the cases below.  Have a look and see if you agree with me.
