An artist that utilises an unforgiving medium like the pen, to create his art.
Ballpoint Pen, leaves very little space for mistakes, they can't be erased and are very difficult to cover. American Artist Paul Kobriger, grew up with 2 passions, drawing and skateboarding. When his career took him into the skateboarding world, he left behind his passion for drawing. Fast forward 20 years and after his co-workers and friends pushed him to getting back to drawing, he started creating art again. I have brought together 2 different styles of Kobriger's today: Scribble Portraits, that, as the word suggests, are drawings where the lines look like scribbles and his Stippling Portraits, where the images are made of small dots, more concentrated in the dark areas and less concentrated in the lighter ones. Have a look below, to see the great characteristics and beauties of both styles.
