Tiny art that looks so amazing, especially when photographed with references to their size.
On his site, Frank Holzenburg tells how he tries to draw / paint something every day. That reminds me of another artist that also specialises in miniature art and she said that she started because she had a day job and painting was something she loved and really wanted to do on a daily basis, but she didn't want to spread one painting through several days. The tiny drawings allowed her to complete 1 painting every day. Back to Holzenburg, he says that his art is inspired by what he finds interesting, what he comes across, which is then translate into miniature art. His list of possible subjects, apparently, is ever growing and is showing no signs of running out. We will definitely pay him another visit in the future, to see what he is up to. By the way, his art encompasses many different subjects, the one chosen for today's post is animals.
