The Dry brush method, is a technique that when learnt and mastered, can make your paintings look like a photo. I think we can all agree that artist Danguole Serstinskaja has mastered it and shows off with her work, just how accurate of a portrait, you can get. A great set of black and white paintings to kick off the weekend and some love for animals, both wild and domestic.

These paintings were done with oil on paper using a "Dry Brush" technique. Oil dry brush is a painting technique where a paint brush is relatively dry but still holds paint. A very thin layer of color is applied to a paper.
