Canadian Self-Taught Artist and Registered Nurse Miro Bautista, has a selection of drawings on his social media site, that differ from each other in many ways. Some are black and white or color, others drawn in ballpoint pen, fineliners and colored pencils. The detailing is quite faceted as well, with a few drawings using a zentangle detailing style. Then there are more realistic and a few with a fantasy kind of finish, or animal, like the phoenix. Finally, a little example of surrealism, that rounds off quite nicely this group of illustrations, all this, from one talented artist.

The rainbow fish and hummingbird are my favorites. I went to his instagram site using his name link in the description above and he has some amazing work posted. To think he is self taught, just wow!
ReplyDeleteIt just shows what you can achieve with passion and dedication. That is why I try to make a point of mentioning it, when an artist is self-taught. Some times there are several different roads to the same destination, you just have to pick the one that is right for you.
