Lorraine Loots creates art in miniature, both in the form of paintings and drawings.
Imagine the qualities that would make a good artist: their detailing, proportions, color choices and application of them. Imagine mastering all of that; now you have to have the eyes to be able to see something that small and an amazingly steady hand, to ensure that every line, detail and color are exactly in the right sport; not a millimetre in any other direction.
If all of that wasn't enough, add choice of subject; it all helps to make this work so beautiful to look at. Enlarge every image to have a better look, but especially the Moth Griposa Aprilina, it has some exquisite detailing.
