An artist that paints portraits just off of realistic, to achieve a more fantasy finish.
New Zealand Watercolor Artist Sanjana B. uses color and detailing to give her paintings a unique and recognisable look.
Expanding on the first paragraph: some of her portraits, (detail-wise) look realistic; the colors then put them into a more of fantasy realm. Others skip straight into a more creative view of reality.
Paintings of cats, dogs and other animals, like you have never seen before. They come with detailing shading and highlights, as you would expect from any photo-realistic piece, but definitely not of this world.
The awesome thing is she offers commissions using her style. You get your pet as it would look in a possible parallel universe; very similar, but not quite the same... You can see some of these examples below.
