The beauty in the precision of geometric shapes.
Devika a medical practitioner from India, draws these complex and very detailed drawings, using patterns that come both from mandala and the zentangle form of art.
Some of them are impossible, meaning that they work as art, but could never be replicated in real life.
Others are perfect symmetry, with exact proportions and then there is the sweetness of the honey bee drawing.
A lot of patience, great design ideas and clean meticulous execution, give form to art that fascinates...

It appears to look as if these Mandela's and designs are done and created on a computer. Is that true? Or are they drawn by hand without the aid of a program and computer??
ReplyDeleteOn the site, the artist states that all of the illustrations are drawn by hand.
