Filipino Illustrator Chen Naje makes another welcome appearance here on DesignStack. Some of his work has become a sort of a calling card for the artist; something instantly recognisable as his.

I am talking about his totem animals. Below there is a funny two drawing one; Don't want to spoil it, but when you look at them in sequence, you will see what I mean.

Different styles and complexity, both in the detailing and in the meaning behind them.

Sunday and a time to try and unwind and relax. I was just thinking of the headline of an article that I saw yesterday. It said that with all that is going on right now around the word, some pets are been forgotten.

Don't wish to contradict it because I know things are difficult and when this happens, some people can't afford their pets anymore.

But I would also like to mention that a lot of people are trying to balance this out and help the best way they can. I know of individuals feeding more stray cats. Neighbours helping the ones that are unable to walk their dogs, or take them out as often or at all because they are in quarantine.

These are the things that I hear from friends and acquaintances but not in the media. I think they are important to mention, as they can inspire others to do the same and shine a bit of light, on what is being painted as a hopeless situation.

No matter how small the gesture, you can't imagine how much it means to someone that is in need.
