Tattoo Art on Human Canvas

00-Tattoo-Art-mr-T-www-designstack-co
Beautiful art that amazes in so many different ways...

Swedish Tattoo Artist that goes by the name mr. T. Art created on the skin, a difficult 3D surface that has an uneven texture and lumps and bumps. Throw into the mix a client that can't keep still and you get an artist that has to navigate many obstacles, in order to create art.

If this was drawn on paper or painted on a canvas it would be a great result, but drawn on a human canvas, makes it even more spectacular.

I have put the large ones at the top, the ones that cover the entire back. Imagine if you admired one or more of the following; Portraits, depiction of another artist's work, a commemorative piece and so on... something you really love, something close to your heart. This way, you get to carry it around with you for the rest of your life. The art becomes a part of you, just as any other part of your body.

Ps. I gave the images some titles.

  1. the artistry is beautiful, but i have always wondered why people do that to their bodies! The body itself is a work of art and when you add to that, you actually take away from its beauty. (speaking as an artist) and then again, when the canvas gets old and wrinkly, there goes the city (so to speak)
but... i really think these pieces are beautiful, on canvas they would be even more so!

    1. There are a lot of reasons people have tattoos; a large percentage are commemorative and I know that that is not the point you were making. I just wanted to say that a lot of it, is not purely artistic there is more to it.

People are driven to experiment in different types of art and are also willing to try out things on themselves. This spirit of adventure, for me, is what brings out the wealth in variety, of art and concepts we have.

All that said there are different way of appreciating an artistic expression. It's not as an all or nothing. As you said, you like the art but you wouldn't have it tattooed on yourself. As you have proven with your words, you can split the two and enjoy just the aspect that speaks to you.

Thank you for your comment; having to talk about any subject, gets you thinking about different aspects of it. Things you would not necessarily question, if the topic hadn't raised. (my brain thanks you too.) Exercise in all forms, is a great thing.

Take care and have a fantastic day. 🌿️🌺️🌿️
