Progression of Pencil Drawings Studies

00-Drawings-Studies-anjjaemi-www-designstack-co
A great way of showing a drawing progression form concept to realistic.

Korean Artist anjjaemi aka Design Gogh uses a pencil to produce multiple iterations on one specific subject.

These drawing studies explore different stages of the reference but also various techniques and approaches.

From a rough sketch, to a finished piece steeped in realism.

I hope that the progression of you coming week gets better and better like these drawings to culminate in a realistically amazing finale.

    1. In this is a way of presenting art and attributing value to each step that takes you from a rough sketches to a realistic drawing.
I love to see the process as much as the finished piece.
From questions and comments on our social media pages, it seems that budding artists appreciate it as well. It helps them learn to replicate before they start creating their own.

      Enjoy your Sunday.🌿️🌺️🌿️

  3. It's a great opportunity to appreciate what dedication and practice can make.

I'm curious, what's the name of the technique he uses? He start by creating the perspective lines?

    1. The artist is making a block to enclose the object to be drawn. Then the lines serve to break up the image to get the proportions of each section correct.

    1. They are called drawing studies. Artists use this method to study an object or person (in sketch form), before creating the final drawing or painting.
You get familiar with the forms before moving to the actual piece.

I hope this answers your question and that you have a fantastic Friday. 🍃️🌺️🍃️DS
