Eye and Expressions in Surreal Drawings

A distinctly surreal vibe, in art that has the eye and expressions at its centre.

Mexican Illustrator David R Lopez has a very interesting take on art. His pictures have many things in common. Two of the most prominent are: The world of surrealism they inhabit and the presence of the eye in one form or another.

I don't know what deeper meaning it has for him. All I can say is that I like how this fascination, tints his work.

It's Thursday and we have just passed the midweek. A perfect post to make us stop and think. A way of pausing the auto pilot we sometimes switch on in our brains, to get though the week with minimum fuss.

The art in this post will hopefully pause your journey through the week, to visit some of the sights before you reach your next destination.

May your day be as surreal and interesting as this art.
