Ileana Hunter pioneered the style "Minimal Realism".
The difference between WIPs (work in progress) and minimalist drawings, is that in the first case the drawing is shown in an intermediate stage of its completion. In the latter, the portrait is completed, any omissions are purposely left out to highlight only a certain part of the drawing/portrait.
As mentioned in the title, there are some celebrities represented below. Then there are commissions and drawing practises from the artist.
My favourite, I have to say, is the smile in the last drawing. A colorful ray of sunlight in a black and white image.
