Multi talented Russian Artist Vladimir Gvozdev, creates paintings, graphics and sculptures. His works looks like the notes and experiments of an eccentric Steampunk Scientist. He creates detailed technical drawings of the animals he wants to create, (beautifully framed in boxes containing, gears, instruments and all sort of little trinkets, that give them a fantastically Antique look). He also has variations in the animal drawings, with different concepts for the fish and the Rhino, for example. He then has a second set of drawings, depicting how humans can use these mechanical animals and lastly some sculptures of his concepts. Beautiful and Surreal work from a talented Artist. Enjoy...

Radoslav Penchev, Graphic Designer and Photographer, working in Bulgaria, creates these abstract Surreal digital Paintings. There are many types of Surreal Art, there are the ones that have double meaning, the title and the image, there are the ones that make a specific statement that needs no title to understand, the fantasy ones and then there are the abstract ones. These are more difficult to interpret, but are the ones that offer the most reward and are personal to the viewer. What you see in these pictures will be shaped by the experiences that have influenced you and your imagination. That is why, if you look at these images with somebody else they might dislike a picture that you love and vice versa. The reason you love it or it has a strong impact on you? It just reminds me of...

Japanese Artist Naoto Hattori now living in the United States, says this about his work "My vision is like a dream, whether it's a sweet dream, a nightmare, or just a trippy dream. I try to see what's really going on in my mind, and that's a practice to increase my awareness in stream-of-consciousness creativity. I try not to label or think about what is supposed to be, just take it in as it is and paint whatever I see in my mind with no compromise. That way, I create my own vision." Enjoy Hattori's magnificently surreal, dream inspiring, Artwork.

Polish Surreal Artist Igor Morski, keeps very busy doing a lot of things, some of which include graphic designer, illustrator and set designer. The one things that caught our attention amongst his work is, his surreal images. We are going to display some of our favourites below. We haven't found names for all of Morski's pictures, so we thought that, in the spirit of Surreal Artwork and the idea that it is supposed to speak in different ways, to different people, we are going to leave all the names off and let the images whisper to your own experiences and desires. Sit back, relax and let your mind do the work...

Canadian artist Rob Gonsalves had two things growing up, a love for daydreaming and a love for art. As he grew older he managed to combine these two aspects of himself into his art. As well as a surreal feel, his art also has an optical illusion side to it, where your eyes and brain have to do a double take in order to process the image. Gonsalves calls his style Magic Realism and the paintings below will definitely show you why. Dreaming is an enjoyable emotion that is almost free, the only thing it is going to cost you is time, a price worth paying for...

Rolando Cyril aka (aquasixio) regards himself as having a Surreal and Fantasy style or Otherworldly. With a background as a psychologist and no formal art education, he says to have learnt a lot form an art and design site called Deviant Art. There, a lot of artist publish their work and their step by step progress. We can see why a psychologist would gravitate towards Surreal Art, as an art form to pursue. In his fantastic drawings Cyril touches on a lot of themes, light and dark with fantastic descriptions and stories that accompany most of his images.

This is how Alexander Jansson describes himself "Some kind of "artist", digital mixed media illustrator, 2D/3D animator, mystery scientist, manager of Orchestre de Mystere, Resident of Gothenburg, Sweden". We have chosen his work because of the beautifully Surreal feeling, that transports us back to childhood, when viewing his paintings. Jansson almost acts a guide, walking us through the door, to these enchanting worlds and characters. Vivid colours with different parts of the image alternating between focus and out of focus, really help give them a dreamlike quality. Please enlarge the images when you are in the post in order to get the full effect. We have included a video of the Ramone Bosco trailer, in which the combination of the animated images, as well as the perfectly chosen background music, help float us to a fantastic world of story telling and fairy-tales. Enjoy...

French Photographer Jean-François Rauzier coined the name, Hyperphoto which is a mixture of hundreds and sometimes thousands of pictures, very big and very small, from all different angles, to create one final one. He collects many pictures of a subject and then uses Photoshop to place them in the the right place and the right prospective, like you would do with a puzzle. Rauzier's work is very fluid and incredible detailed, most of the time he doesn't have a final picture in his head when he takes the photographs. They come together when he gets the various components and can then see what fits where. We have included a video, that is in French and subtitled in English, it will give you a better understanding of his fantastic process.
