Animal paper cutouts that look like ink drawings.
Japanese Artist Masayo Fukuda delicately and patiently cuts into sheets of paper, to create these lovely illustrations.
It's only when she holds them in her hands, that you get a feeling of how fragile and intricate they really are.
They are all beautiful and masterful pieces but, my favourite are the octopus and the seventh picture down: The fox, bird, squirrel and eagle. This last one almost looks like the animals sit on different planes the more you travel up the drawing, the farther back it looks.
If you look at them on a black background, they are almost indistinguishable from ink drawings.
Patients and skill put to excellent work, by a very skilful artist.
