I don't know if this is the reason for Andrés Reisinger creations, but this is what I think: The work is a fantastic way of bringing our attention back to buildings/architecture and the neighbourhoods we live in.
We are in such a rush these days; we move from place to place without looking around. The advent of the smart phone adds to this. We spend a lot of time looking at it whilst walking or travelling. The consequence? We don't pay any attention to our surroundings.
These wiorks highlighted by unusual textures. Bright striking colours and their insertion into established neighbourhoods, make us pay attention. It drags us away from all of the other distractions and focuses our gaze on a lot of what we take for grated in our world today.
A great hat tip to architecture and a lovely bright and cosy way to start your week.
