Thomas Waldron uses scientific evidence to approximate the possible look and coloring of these ancient creatures. Let's not forget, many of their descendants still alive all around us today. Some of the features are approximations or guesses, based on the remains found all over the world.
I really like how he approaches these illustrations. Different views of the face of the animal and the introduction of a human to give them a sense of scale.
The first two depictions here, show the beings recreated from the movies franchise Jurassic World. Beautiful creatures in these drawings and the aforementioned. Still, I wouldn't want to be face to face with them like the silhouette in the illustration.
Now to time travelling... A chance to move across time to visit them in what might well have been their flesh suit.
