Ink drawings of a variety of subjects, depicted in the stippling style.
Ukrainian Artist Rostislaw Tsarenko created all of the delicate and beautifully executed illustrations on this page.
It's amazing when you consider these drawings were built using tiny little ink dots, made using a fineliner. The hand drawn dots are more concentrated in the dark areas and less, in the lighter ones. (Of course the definition is reversed when you are looking at the white drawings on the black background.)
This is definitely one of my favourite styles and mediums.
As far as the images are concerned: The impressive detailing of the man with all of the tattoos, is my first pick. The face split into three minds over a dilemma, my second. Finally and mostly, the hand with a wisp of magic smoke.
How about you? Which one/s do you feel you gravitate towards the most?
Ps. I gave the images some titles.
