Bas Geeraets has a passion for animals and for birds in particular. All of the avian critters on this page are his creations.
So many variations of a being that trace back to dinosaurs. They come in all sorts of sizes, colours and plumage appearance.
I love the delicate pose Geeraets captures with the godwit. The attentive and steely gaze of the peregrine falcon. The impressive pose of the cormorant. Finally, the intricate detailing of the sparrow and the little half log beneath it.
