Polish Artist Wojciech Baran drew all of the buildings on this page.
The presentation of the drawings has different settings. Some of them come with elaborate ornate frames around the main portion of the piece. Others have wall-to-wall scenery. All the drawings have a few things in common: Centuries old feel and a fantastic amount of detailing.
As far as the last point is concerned, I would suggest pressing the images to enlarge them. All but the first on the page.
As for my favourites? The Tiny House on the pond. It is surrounded by grass, bushes and trees. It has such an idyllic feel about it, it makes you want to spend time there to relax and wash away the troubles of the world.
The other drawing is the one in 7th position. The little village at the top of the hill. I can almost see the astonishing panoramic views you get from every window in the small cluster of houses. Imagine waking up and going to sleep to these views.
Have a look at these drawings and have a thought about which drawing and building you would like to spend some time in.
