Charcoal portrait drawings full of emotions and expressions.
Russian Artist Olga Lomovtseva drew all of the likenesses you see on this page.
It's been a while since the last time we featured an artist with their charcoal depictions.
This style and medium are a favourite of mine. They don't mean to be realistic and yet hold all of the intensity of one. Subtle expressions sit next to ones more outspoken and clear. Some of the models' thoughts seem to come through, as if words have been spoken by these still renderings.
A lot to like and so many facets to discover and admire. I hope you feel the same way I do towards Lomovtseva's work and that your Friday is a pleasant one. I will see you bright and early tomorrow.
Ps. I gave the images some titles.
