Ancient mythical creatures from stories around the world, including Egypt.
Darren Pepper drew all of the fantasy beings you see on this page.
There are many animals that are based on lore and some that are from the artist's imagination. One of them has also a few surreal features.
What are the things they have in common? They are all beautifully detailed and look like an animals that could and probably should, exist.
I have a couple of mentions concerning the sketches below: The first drawing is of the person taking the little pet out for its daily walk. (A cuddly little and softy at heart being.)
The second is the look and detailing of the unicorn. The lovely kind eyes, together with the neat hairstyle, give this beautiful equine a friendly feel about it.
The dragon with the regal pose is next. Perfect posture and composure give this creature a presence not usually seen in movies and TV shows.
Lastly : ), the surreal image and look of the dragon smoking the pipe whilst giving an annoyed inquisitive look...
There are plenty more beings for you to see and meet. Have fun with that and your Sunday. I will see you bright and early tomorrow.
