British Artist Dave Salter drew all the beings you see on this page.
So many cool poses, expressions and fantastic detailing. The three points I just mentioned express most of the qualities contained in Salter's work.
As much as I like the mammals, especially the peaceful drawing of the sleeping cat, I love the illustrations of the birds.
They have a majestic quality that I think points back to their capability of flying. Anything involving this amazing quality can't help but impress. As well as the static positions of these avian little beings, the ones in flight are the ones that captivate the most. They alter their wing configurations to different positions, to perform all sorts of manoeuvres whilst taking off, landing or in flight. You will see examples below.
