Art-Ablaze drew all of the universes you see on this page.

Each one of these light bulbs contains some form of life in it. Most of the occupants are animals, with two humans and two fantasy stories in the form of Studio Ghibli's - Spirited Away - and the Pokemon Pikachu. There is one more selection and that is two bulbs containing flowers.

I would have so much to say about this post. Apart from conventional favourites, there are deeply meaningful drawings, full of symbology. Sketches that inject a lot of meaning into the art. I will mix both concepts and see how we go.

My first pick has to be the manta rays. They are my favourite fish. Their streamlined form and the grace with which they move remind me of birds. Rather than in air, they do their flying and gliding in water.

The next is the person reading books. A well-lit, but private, silent and serene place to focus your attention on the story unfolding on the printed pages... A peaceful contentment that can come from activities like reading. A single focus that pushes everything else out of that light bulb and keeps it there till you are finished and you are ready to return to the world with everyone and everything else. If you are lucky enough to have an interest that absorbs you so completely, you also have a travel pass to absolute enjoyment.

The next ones I am going to mention are the flowers and skulls in drawing nine. I was going to skip this drawing at first. There is so much... I thought it would just add to the sea of negativity we are being drowned in at the moment. Then I changed my mind. This is what our existence is in a nutshell. Life and death. Life for some people is harder than death and yet, we don't keep hiding from it. We celebrate life in very many different ways. We have no overall control of life or death. What we can do, though, is make both, at the very least, more tolerable if not... I wish for you to see the hope in those words. If that happens, it will transform this image from a possibly macabre piece of art, to one we can live with, in a serene understanding of us...
