Fantastic architectural drawings of cities in Europe.
Corne Akkers drew all of the buildings you see on this page.
I love Akkers's style. Even though it changes slightly throughout, you can still see how the drawings are all connected. All done by the same person.
For example: Have a look at the difference between the first and the second image. Different building styles, lighting and slightly different approaches to the drawing.
In the third drawing you have this magnificent nighttime view of Rotterdam. All the residential and business lights illuminating the water just in front of them. They light up the scene for passing viewers.
The fourth drawing is of a building of a more classic design. What looks like a young person is fishing on the river's edge, enveloped in this peaceful-looking setting.
One last comment: I like how Akkers leaves construction lines on some of the drawings. Those are the lines that set up the directions and angles of the different walls.
