As I mentioned above, there are different styles at play in this post. They go from minimalism in line drawings all the way to realistic ones. Even the line drawings have some realistic qualities in them.
There are single portraits, groups and also an image containing historic and Greek/Roman mythology.
There are some celebrities I know and others that I don't and Oak seems to be very fond of.
I really like the Avril Lavigne drawing for the likeness and that incredible expression. Both are captured beautifully by the artist.
My final mention goes to the last drawing. Specifically, the smoky area that surrounds the face. It envelops the body below the neck and seems to encompass, in some places more than others, the hair. With a still picture it's difficult to say, but it almost looks like she is disappearing into the page, or she is appearing out of it? Either way, it's a beautiful piece.
