Sweet drawings and paintings in appreciation for botany illustrations.
Johanna Forster drew and painted all of the art you see on this page.
Cute characters that sometimes appear in their true form and other times take a more animal/human form.
I think that Forster would make a fantastic illustrator. I like the two sides to this post in equal measure, but for different reasons. I will give you some examples:
I love plants. So drawings like numbers 2, 5, 7, 8, 10 make me think of the lovely colours they provide around the home. The fresh air and a sense of peace that comes with having them around.
The other drawings inspire my mind in a different way, a more fantasy-driven thought. One that takes you into daydreams. You see these still images start to slowly move, emote, talk and progress into amazing story telling.
