Wonderful buildings that shine in their design and architectural detailing.
Hulya hulyasketch drew all of the buildings you see on this page.
I really wanted to use the word "rustic" in the title to define most of these buildings. I come to this point every time I want to use that word. There are different ways of defining it and "rural", I think is OK. Another one is lacking refinement of the more prestigious buildings. From a certain point of view I agree, but not as a lesser thing, but a different set of attributes. For me they tend to have a warmer, including, cosy feel to them. A feeling that entering a building like that is going to promote an immediate sense of comfort. All of that to say I like the word "rustic" and the connotations I associate it with. I didn't use it because I didn't want it to be taken the wrong way.
So many examples of that warmth of design pepper the house, habitations and more commercial buildings in this post.
I was going to pick one favourite and ended up seeing 2. Second drawing down with the house on the edge, is my first choice. Provided I could guarantee no ground movement, I would love to live in a house like that.
Drawing 3 and the house on the island. That is contingent on having enough food stored and I would like just a little bit more land. Can you imagine using a boat, instead of using public transport or a car, when you have to run an errand?
How about you? Which one/s would you see yourself comfortably living in?
