Charcoal drawings predominantly at nighttime and contained in sketchbooks.
Yosra Yassin drew all of the art you see on this page.
From sea to land and the sky, Yassin brings us to all sorts of sights.
I love the ones over the ocean, but also the ones that include urban sketching and the ones that are in rural settings in the forest.
At sea you get to see the more dramatic scenes. Choppy waters and in some of them, ships struggling with the menacing waves.
The forest is the more calm and tranquil place. Here you get to experience a lovely sense of serenity that takes over and envelops you.
The urban sights are the ones that sit between the two groups above. They look calm, but you know that something is always waiting to pop up and shatter that piece. Specifically, the walk in town and the elevated bus ride.
A change to live through all of these different scenarios and spend time in the worlds that Yassin presents us with. Which one are you going to start with first?
