Artist Olena goes by the name of olena_sketching on Instagram. Olena created all of the food art you see on this page.
As I started mentioning above, the realism in the marker pen drawings is what makes me want to taste each and every one of the foods in these pictures.
In this post, I have put together a mixture of drinks, sweet cakes, savoury dishes and fruits.
There are so many mouthwatering images that it's difficult to pick 1 favourite. Let's start with the red velvet cake and fresh berries. I have tasted this kind of cake before and it's as gorgeous-looking as it is tasty. Olena's image shows it off beautifully.
Now we move to 2 savoury dishes: The egg sandwich and the salmon and cream cheese on bread. I am not that hungry right now and yet, if one of these dishes was in front of me, I would definitely eat it.
In the fruit section I would pick the peaches and the mango. In the case of the first, you get to see one cut open and the promise of that sweet, juicy flesh.
This is fantastic art that connects with my brain.
