Plenty of details in the following architectural drawings.
Jorge Rivas Krause drew all of the architecture drawings you see on this page.
Such a fantastic selection of beautiful buildings. This artist does an astonishing job at translating them into ink drawings.
I have so many favourites on this page that I am not sure where to start.
I will start with the first and then give some comments on a few of the images below.
I love the sweeping curves of this corridor, the intricate ceiling and the stone look of the place.
The second drawing looks like an average brick building till you add the iron staircase and the elaborate stone surround to the door on the right.
Drawing 3, it's another case of adding wonderful comments. The beauty and intricacy of the architecture, the corridor section joining the two buildings and straddling the river. Finally, the subtle reflections in the water.
I could continue and go through all of the rest and eye-walk through the scene. It's a way of looking at the picture and picking up all of its qualities. It's only second to being there and doing it in person. Try it out and enjoy the scenes.
