Lei Melendres aka (Leight) describes himself as a "Freelance professional doodle artist and illustrator from the Philippines". What a lovely job title, I am not being sarcastic, it just shows how the world can change. Doodling used to be associated with wasting time, not concentrating in class, having your head in the clouds... and so on. Now it has definitely found a space in the art world, with his artwork being used for clothing, packaging, mobile apps and exhibited in local galleries.
