Book and Bed Tokyo is a form of accommodation that you will not find easily elsewhere. It is a combination of a library and Hotel / Hostel. The experience is centred around reading, the 1,700 and growing collection of books and comics in English and Japanese. There are 30 beds some standard and some Compact that are located behind the bookshelf and fitted with with a mattress, cushion, light and power with free WiFi. The Book and Bed provides seating area, shared showers and toilet facilities. The Compact bed is 80cm x 200cm (31.5in in x78.5in) and costs about US$29 per night. The Standard bed is 120cm x 200cm (47in x 78.5in) and costs about US$37 per night. Below more pictures and a quick video that will show a bit more of the Book and Bed.
